With 256 pages and numerous photographs supported where relevant by drawings, this book is the most comprehensive photographic guide to Marine Fish currently published in the UK. MWoAEMarine Wildlife of Atlantic Europe” by Amanda Young. Photographs by Paul Kay. Published in 1994 by Immel Publishing who produced a number of books about the temperate marine environment. The forward was kindly supplied by David Bellamy who said that the varied imagery and fascinating text “….will educate, entertain and enthral”. The Hidden World of the Menai Strait” was one of 3 bilingual books published by the National Trust and for which I supplied the photographs. The other two were also about areas in North Wales “The Carneddau and Glyderau living mountains” and “Llyn a special place”. All are now out of print. The Menai book remains the only book about the undersea world of the Menai Strait, which is now a Special Area of Conservation. Its well worth trying to track down secondhand if you are interested in the marine life in the Strait. It has no ISBN
